Seals
Seals are used in many applications including hydraulics and pneumatics. Their primary purpose is to contain air, gasses or fluids within mating components or to exclude air, gasses or fluids out of mating components. The choice in the type of elastomer to use is dictated by the media the seal is exposed to and the operating environment.
